We are the rememberers

My name is Monica, mom of four wonderful boys. I started Ghunter Candle after I received a candle as a gift. At the time I was looking for a hobby to help me with my PTSD. So I started researching all about candles, all the different types of waxes, fragrance oils, temperatures, math equations, etc. All of that helped to keep my mind busy.

As I started to make candles and mixing fragrance oils it reminded me of my son Gabriel Hunter who passed away when he was 1 year and 5 months. It brought a lot of memories of him and I found peace and comfort. Candles calm my mind and the process of handcrafting them has help my mental health. I knew then that I wanted to turn this hobby into something more.

My mission is to share the emotions and feelings we have after losing a loved one. Every time you light a candle you remember the ones that left us.

I hope our candles bring you solace and joy remembering times of hope, love and gratitude.

All Natural Soy Wax

Every ingredient is considered when being added to our products. Soy candles are made from soybeans, a natural, renewable source grown in many regions by local farmers. Paraffin candles are made from petroleum, which is a nonrenewable source that contains carcinogenic substances. These substances may be released into the air while burning. Using candles made from soy supports local agriculture and farmers, allowing them to make money and grow their operations.

Our fragrance blends are made of both natural and man-made ingredients, and are paraben-free, phthalate-free, and are never tested on animals.
